GUARD AT ROSEHILL MALL
I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT ANY EMPLOYER CAN EXPECT A PERSON (NO MATTER OF WHAT COLOUR) TO STAND ON ONE SPOT FOR 12 HOURS WITH NO PROTECTION FROM THE WEATHER/ELEMENTS.
THE GUARD WHO STANDS ON THE TRAFFIC CIRCLE AS YOU ENTER THE MALL HAS TO STAND THERE FOR 12 HOURS.
SURELY HE CAN BE GIVEN A HIGH CHAIR LIKE THAT OF THE SURF LIFESAVERS THAT WILL GIVE A CLEAR 360DEGREE VIEW OF THE PARKING AREA AND ALLOW HIM TO VIEW ALL AROUND.
CAN HE ALSO NOT BE GIVE A ROOF OVER THE CHAIR FOR SUN. WOULD YOU DO THIS FOR PLUS MINUS R7.00 PER HOUR.
COME ON PEOPLE WE HAVE TO THINK LIKE HUMANS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Perhaps the Links should exclude the phrase "personal service and South African hospitality from their advertising" as it is clear they are struggling or to lazy to provide adequate service. Last time I checked South African service was never this bad!
On the 26 th of September we stopped by for dinner at +-8:15 without a reservation as the restaurant had no patrons outside and tables were empty inside. We asked if we could have a table for two and the response was that the kitchen could not cope and they were short on stock so they could not serve us but if we wanted pizza they had lots of it!
Pizza? no thanks, what happened to the game, seafood, grills and or delicious meals advertised?
There is definitely room for a non franchise restaurant in Port Alfred that can cope with demand and go the extra mile to make the visitors that support this town feel welcome!
We went to the Ocean Basket which was packed and received wonderful service and meals without a reservation for the R400 we spent!
